-50% League Dues go to Regular Season, 50% to Year End Tourney

 

 Regular Season Format:

-Handicapped  2vs2 Best Ball Match Play

 

-Teams will be randomly drawn every week with those that can make it. If you are coming that week, no need to do or say anything. If you are out, you have until 3:00 to let the group chat or the commissioner know. If you need an earlier or later tee time, please communicate that as well. 

-The max amount players can be paired together is twice for a season. Let the commish know after the 2nd pairing so the algorithm can be changed. 

 

-Tee times and group pairings will be sent to the group chat no later than an hour before first tee time, usually earlier if possible. 

 

-4:50 is the first tee time every Thursday. 

-The only fivesomes permitted are for ghost situations. If you have a friend that isn’t part of the league and you want them to join, you can forfeit your chance at a point and play behind the league. Or contact Schultz and maybe he'll play with them...

 

-Both players on the winning team will earn one point, a half point will be earned for a tie, and zero points for a loss.

 

-Scorecard pictures must be sent to the group chat that night.

-To determine the amount of holes a player strokes on per 9, take your 18 hole  handicap and multiply it by .40. That number rounded up is your league handicap.  For example, a 10 handicap player will get a stroke on the 4 hardest handicapped holes. (See chart below)

1.3 – 3.7=1

3.8 – 6.2 =2

6.3 – 8.7=3

8.8 – 11.2=4

11.3 – 13.7=5

21.3 – 23.7=9

23.8 – 26.2=10

26.3 – 28.7=11

28.8 – 31.2=12
31.3 - 33.7=13

-In the event of an odd number of players, ghosts will be used. 

• 1 ghost (e.g., 21 players): The extra player draws a random partner from the final foursome and plays against the same team as that partner.
• 2 ghosts (e.g, 26 players) One player draws a partner from the second-to-last group, and the other draws from the final group. Same rules as above. 
• 3 ghosts (e.g, 15 players) Match will be played as 2 vs. 1 threesome. The solo player is assigned a ghost partner drawn from the full player pool. 

Regular Season Payout:

1st-$384 40% of the pot

2nd-$240 25%

3rd-$192 20%

4th-$144 15%

5th-$60 Money Back

6th-$60 Money Back

 

-Top 6 in regular season points automatically make it to the 8 player Year End Tourney. 

 

-In the event of ties: If there is a tie for any seed between 1-5, the money will be split and a coin will be flipped to determine bracket seed. If the tied players want to work something out differently on their own, that’s fine too, but both players must agree, otherwise it’s a split and coin flip. 

 

-If there is a tie between players vying for the 6th and final spot, the tiebreaker will happen in this order, depending on availibility and player preference: 

1.Sudden death hole on 1 or 10 (depending on starting side that week) after regular season play wraps up August 20th if all tied players are present and there is still light.

2.Low net 9 holes during August 27th Play In. The loser would still have a chance to qualify via the low net 7/8 competition.
